Boise auto shops to give veterans free oil changes

BOISE, Idaho (CBS 2) A few Boise-area auto repair shops are celebrating Veterans Day with free oil changes for military personnel. Five Treasure Valley businesses will provide veterans and active-duty military personnel on Nov. 8 and 11.The offer includes the oil filter and up 5 quarts of regular oil.

Five Treasure Valley businesses will provide veterans and active-duty military personnel on Nov. 8 and 11.The offer includes the oil filter and up 5 quarts of regular oil.

This includes active, retired, disabled, veterans of foreign wars, and spouses of active military personnel can get a free standard lube, oil, and filter service.

This is the 19th consecutive year NAPA Auto Care Centers has donated the oil filters for the event.

Quantities are limited and the free oil changes will be provided by appointment only. Drop-in customers are not eligible, so call in!

One shop will do this on Friday, Nov. 8:
