Being an athlete, Wilson naturally has to pay attention to what he eats, and try to eat as healthy as he can. However, his career is not the only reason he is conscious about his diet. Wilson says to ESPN, "I think it's critical. It allows you to wake up feeling good, feeling strong. It allows you to excel throughout the day and have tons of strength and energy. So I think it's really important for me. And I love food. I'm from the South, Virginia. So for me, I have to be really conscientious of what I eat. And also, my dad had diabetes. So I try to really pay attention to what I eat and try to do a really good job of that."
Wilson tells ESPN that he does a lot of running in order to stay in shape, and practice for all the running he has to do in a game. "I normally run a lot in practice and after practice, the off days and everything like that."
Ciara says to InStyle that she tries to workout pretty regularly, but she admits that this can be difficult for her to do. She says that she stays motivated to exercise and that her post-workout feelings are a big motivation for her. "There are definitely times where I'm like, OK, here we go. Sometimes we don't want to do what we need to do, but what we need to do is often the best thing for us. Pushing through is what makes you feel the most proud after a good workout, and after I finish working out, it feels like I conquered the world. This feeling helps me get going for the day."
Ciara tells InStyle that her favorite form of cardio is bike riding, specifically Peloton sessions. "I hop on my Peloton Bike for a 30 to 45 minute session with my girl Ally Love. She's one of my favorite instructors on their streaming classes. Riding my bike was huge for me when I was losing my baby weight. Combined with working with my trainer, I was doing three workouts a day which is pretty aggressive."
Ciara tells InStyle that she likes to mix it up with her personal trainer, and that this helps her stay interested in working out. "For me, it's about changing the routine because I don't like doing the same thing over and over again."
