A game that has taken the world by storm, powering streamers to new heights and giving regular gamers some acute hits, it’s something that has managed to stay fresh no matter how many hours have been put in, because of the new collabs every other time.
According to popular Fortnite data miner and leaker Hypex, “The next Fortnite x Arcane League of Legends collab is set to be Mel. This is according to 2 different sources that were correct multiple times!”
Mel Medarda is a Noxian aristocrat based in Piltover and a member of Piltover’s ruling council. A disowned heir of the Medarda Clan, Mel is an ambitious politician willing to do anything to put herself at the top. Using her political prowess, the actions she made have forever changed the course of Piltover’s history.
Mel is not actually a playable Champion in League of Legends, however, she is a prominent character in the massive Netflix hit show, Arcane, which is directly inspired by the world of Riot Games’ MOBA. Since the first season of the show ended a few months ago, it’s unlikely that the next one will be released this year as well.
Fortnite earlier had a crossover with arcane which featured Jinx, a villainous playable champion in the MOBA game League of Legends and is also one of the two main protagonists of the Netflix show arcane. Just like the other skins in Fortnite, the Jinx skin also came with a bundle.
Mel is a slender and ebony-skinned woman. She has dark curly hair and green eyes. She wears elegant clothing with gold elements reminiscent of both Shuriman and Targonian attire, mixed with common Piltover patterns.
HYPEX has already confirmed the Stamina item as part of the drop, but for now, no date has been announced by Epic Games. These collaborations have brought new players to the game, attracting an even bigger audience for the already successful title.
