Nikola Jokić is a Serbian professional basketball player. He is a center for the Denver Nuggets of the National Basketball Association (NBA), and has also played with the Serbian national team. He was the 2020-21 and 2021–22 regular season MVP, and is a five-time NBA All-Star. He was previously with Mega Basket. He is nicknamed “the Joker.”
Nikola is the son of Branislav Jokić, an agricultural engineer. His brothers, Strahinja and Nemanja, have also played basketball, with Nemanja doing so in the U.S. Nikola is married to Natalija Mačešić, with whom he has a daughter.
